While a student at Seton Hall Law, Mr. Kraut was one of the few students in the state of New Jersey who landed concurrent internships in his first summer, interning for both Chief Judge Michael Kaplan of the Bankruptcy Court of New Jersey and the Monmouth County Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Kraut also interned at the Trial Court levels in both New York and New Jersey with Judge Leon Ruchelsman of the New York Supreme Court and Judge Russel J. Passamano of the New Jersey Superior Court.

Throughout his law school journey, Mr. Kraut took classes with a concentration in Business Law. Specifically, classes in corporate law, transactional law, construction law, consumer law, tax and bankruptcy. Upon joining Bathgate, Wegener & Wolf P.C. in May of 2023, Mr. Kraut has primarily assisted Mr. Bathgate and Mr. Wouters on transactional matters, working on some of the largest and complex transactions in the Ocean County vicinity. He has also overseen a number of business and construction disputes and has been an essential team player in procuring various settlements on behalf of the firm’s clients.
